Patients must proactively inform their physician of relevant medical history information, and the physician will make an individual assessment based on medical history, suitability of indications, and contraindications.
If you have ever had an allergic reaction to topical ointments or any other skin abnormalities before treatment (such as atopic dermatitis, severe eczema, allergies, severe cystic acne), you should inform your doctor in advance and have him/her evaluated.
If the patient has had any filler injections or surgery in the treatment area in the past six months, they should proactively inform their doctor.
Patients are advised to avoid skin irritation and exposure to ultraviolet rays for at least 2 to 4 weeks before and after treatment.
Avoid excessive sun exposure, sunbathing, or other laser treatments one week before treatment.
One week before treatment, you should stop taking oral A acid, anticoagulant health foods (such as fish oil, vitamin E, Q10, etc.) or medications.
One week before treatment, you should avoid using A acid, fruit acid, salicylic acid products, as well as skin peeling, exfoliation and other related treatments.
For men, please shave the day before or on the day of treatment (shave and clean the treatment area).
1. Do not apply ice or do induction courses on the day of surgery to maintain the optimal thermal effect treatment.
2. The treated area may experience local redness, swelling (due to local anesthesia and heat accumulation), bleeding, burning sensation, slight stinging, itching, and pigmentation changes. These are skin reactions and will usually improve within a few days.
3. For minimally invasive wounds in the treatment area, use a sterile cotton swab to apply wound ointment or burn ointment. Be careful not to touch raw water within 24 hours. If cleaning is required, use normal saline solution and do not use any skin care products within 24 hours. After 24 hours, you can wash your face and apply skin care products normally.
4. After the operation, clean the treated area with sterile saline and temporarily use an irritating cleanser.
5. 1-2 days after Matrix Pro treatment, slight redness, swelling, and fine scabs may appear, and the skin may become slightly rough. This indicates a successful treatment. Please allow the scabs to fall off naturally; do not pick at them. ※ If the scabs are not properly cared for, they may fall off prematurely and form pigmentation, which will gradually subside over 3-6 months.
6. Avoid washing your face with hot water for one week after surgery. It is recommended to increase moisturizing and sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher is recommended to protect against UV rays). Use ointment as needed according to your doctor's advice. *Oral medications and ointments require a doctor's prescription and can be obtained at a pharmacy at your own expense.
7. Please avoid extreme temperature environments (such as saunas, hot springs, swimming pools, steam rooms, or strenuous exercise) within two weeks after surgery.
8. Please avoid exfoliation, laser and skin rejuvenation treatments within four weeks after the operation, and avoid using irritating products such as acids and exfoliants (scrubs, L-ascorbic acid, glycolic acid, A acid, salicylic acid, etc. for anti-aging, wrinkle removal and whitening) to reduce skin irritation.
9. Avoid tobacco, alcohol, spicy foods and other irritants and pickled foods in your diet to prevent the production of free radicals and inhibit collagen proliferation.
10. Continue to use moisturizing and sunscreen products on a daily basis. Consult clinic professionals for product recommendations.
11. If you feel any discomfort, please seek medical attention immediately.
If small blisters develop, please follow your doctor's advice and use ointment to care for the wound. You can also apply local ice compresses to the blisters intermittently, or return to the doctor for further treatment.
