Facial Aging: Tips
As we age, collagen is lost. The signs of facial aging begin to appear in the cheeks, apples of the face, and the uterus. For example, the uterus and forehead may become less full, the eye sockets may become sunken, and lines such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines may gradually appear. Or, lines that used to appear only when smiling may gradually reappear even when not smiling. These are all signs of aging, making one appear older and more haggard.

Four steps to autologous fat augmentation

Be sure to tell your doctor your detailed medication history and allergy history. People with cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, diabetes, blood diseases and other acute and chronic diseases need a doctor to evaluate whether they are suitable for liposuction.
Two weeks before surgery, you should avoid taking aspartame and anticoagulant drugs, including vitamin E, to avoid hematoma or massive bruising.
Smoking should be stopped 2 weeks before surgery to avoid vasoconstriction and slowing of blood flow.
On the day of surgery, do not wear metal objects, contact lenses, or makeup, drive or ride a motorcycle by yourself; do not bring valuables.
The surgery will be performed using local or intravenous anesthesia depending on the location of the surgery. If intravenous anesthesia is used, the entire process will be monitored by a professional anesthesiologist and equipment.
1. The liposuction wound is approximately 0.5-1 cm in size. The inner layer is sutured with absorbable sutures, and the outer layer is secured with paper tape. If there are sutures on the outer layer, they will be removed 7-10 days after the operation. Keep it dry and change the dressing.
2. Please wipe your body and do not take a shower within 2 days after the autologous fat surgery. After the third day, you can start taking a shower after using a waterproof and breathable membrane.
3. The skin nerves are relatively dull after the operation. Some of the skin sensory nerve fiber endings may be damaged during fat suction. They will gradually recover in about 3-6 months. Vitamin B12 can be supplemented to help nerve repair.
4. Facial wounds that require fat replenishment are usually covered with artificial skin. If the wound is oozing or bleeding, the inside of the artificial skin will turn white. At this time, a new artificial skin must be replaced. If there is no discoloration throughout the day, it means the wound has healed and no more artificial skin is needed. For subsequent wound care, wipe it clean with saline solution and apply ointment 2-3 times a day.

As long as you are in good health, have enough body fat after extraction for facial 3D sculpting, are not pregnant, have high blood pressure, diabetes, acute cardiovascular disease or other problems, and have been diagnosed by a professional autologous fat facial sculpting physician as suitable for surgery to improve facial depression, you can undergo the surgery.
Fillers such as hyaluronic acid and collagen proliferators are injected into the subcutaneous layer or dermis, which is at a different depth from the subcutaneous fat layer injected during autologous fat facial sculpting surgery. Therefore, there will be no impact. However, if you have received micro-plastic surgery injections, it is still recommended to wait one month before undergoing autologous fat facial sculpting surgery.
The duration of the autologous fat facial sculpting procedure depends on the size of the area being filled. For example, cheek augmentation with autologous fat takes about 1 hour, while full-face fat augmentation takes about 1.5-2 hours. Local anesthesia is sufficient for liposuction of small areas, but if the patient is psychologically nervous, general anesthesia is recommended.
